Monterey!

Had a nice walk round Monterey tonight - but they did to make it to Fisherman's Wharf as planned! But had a nice meal at Rosines ( http://www.rosinesmonterey.com/ ) and then they had a look round Trader Joe's ( http://www.traderjoes.com/stores/index.asp ) but found NO sweets! They then had a tea and coffee from a nice coffee house on the way back to the motel!

 

So, day 1 in the bus is over! I think it went better than we epected! We enjoyed the scenery but would have liked longer some of the stops! The control of where and when you do things must be the trade off for enjoying the views and being dropped off and picked up when required!

As for the people on the bus....well....so far it seems so good! Mind you....all these people together for so long.....I will view with interes! When do we get to vote off the first people?

There are a few Scots - some from Glasgow and two couples from Kirriemuir! However, there are three or four couples from Australia and one cople from Israel! The Aussies are from Sydney, Melbourne and Perth!

Here's me updating my blog and checking out the info on 17 mile drive!

So....let's see how tomorrow goes!
