L was still not well.....so A &M set off for the day! They had a long lie and then eventually they went out for a walk! They went along the river and stopped for breakfast/lunch at a nice little cafe! Then they went for a walk round the canals and admired all the houses! Very posh.....front door has the garage and drive way while the back garden has the jetty for the boat! So.....two car and a boat families are prevalent here!
The area was very picturesque but the houses are all quite private with high walls round them. They seem heavily influenced by the Mediterranean styles....but they seem keen to try and outdo each other - size of house.....style of car......size of garage.....size of boat...or even the house number sign!
They ended up at Woolies.....and the chemist.....and then wEnt backfire seat in the balcony while I played chess and then as usual they had a snooze!
Tonight they went out for tea.....but that wasn't for long either! Let's hope for more action tomorrow!
